Significant Investor Stream (Subclass 188C)

This visa is for people who invest AUD5 million in Australian investments that meet certain requirements and maintain business and investment activity in Australia.

188C Main Advantages

• Residing requirements lose, you can apply for two extensions;
• Able to carry along family members who meet requirements with the application of residence and corresponding permanent resident visa;
• Visa holder is free to travel to and from Australia；

188C Basic Eligibility 

• Need to be invited to apply through EOI;
• nominated by an eligible government organisation;
• Have sufficient corporate and personal assets
• Previous success in investment history or business.
• Invest at least $5,000,000

Stay period	Up to 4 years and 3 months
What you can do with this visa	Carry out business and investment activity in Australia; Stay in Australia for up to 4 years and 3 months; Apply for a permanent Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent) visa (subclass 888) Significant Investor stream.
Requirements	Must: Make an investment of AUD5 million that meets our requirements and maintain it for 4 years; Genuinely commit to living in the state or territory that nominates you.
Cost	Main Applicant: From $7,310 AUD.    Sub Applicant: over 18 years of age: AU $3,655.00; under 18 years of age: AU $1,830.00.
Conditions	Not marry before first entry; Maintain investment.
Processing times	Unavailable due to low volume of applications.

What you can do with this visa	Continue to conduct business and investment activity in Australia; Stay in Australia permanently; Work and study in Australia.
Requirements	Must hold a Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) (subclass 188) visa in the Significant Investor stream or Significant Investor extension stream; Have held your investment (made in connection with your provisional visa) for 4 years; Have a current nomination from Austrade.
Cost	Main Applicant: From $2,405 AUD. Sub Applicant: over 18 years of age: AU $1,205.00; under 18 years of age: AU $600.
Conditions	Not marry before first entry.
Processing times	Unavailable due to low volume of applications.
