Case Summary
📂 Ms. S previously submitted a partner visa application in Australia. However, due to errors made by her previous agent, her partner visa was rejected, and the case entered the AAT appeal stage. After one year in AAT, some strains developed in her relationship due to everyday issues.
📃 At that time, Ms. S was on a Bridging Visa A, so she reached out to us seeking professional advice. After a comprehensive assessment of her situation, we determined that she could also consider applying for a skilled migration visa. Ms. S was about to complete her master’s degree in Architecture in Australia, and her English proficiency was strong. Although her EOI score was not particularly high at the time of consultation, we encouraged her to take an English test as soon as possible. After three months of preparation, she achieved four 79s on the PTE exam.
🚩 In parallel, we advised her to start job-hunting to accumulate relevant work experience. Ms. S readily accepted our suggestions and secured a related job before graduation. We then successfully lodged her EOI.
📝 Due to limited state nomination quotas in the previous financial year and unclear policies, there was a delay in receiving an EOI invitation. Despite this, Ms. S was undeterred. With a dedicated work ethic, she finally secured a full-time employment contract while still on her Bridging Visa A.
🌻 Just before the close of the 2024 fiscal year, the 189 invitation round suddenly resumed. With an EOI score of 75, Ms. S successfully received dual invitations for both the 189 and 190 visa applications. She ultimately chose to proceed with the 189 visa. Less than two months after submission, her PR was successfully granted.
