We use customer relationship management, email and SMS automation platforms to record your enquiry, categorise it by matter type and send scheduled follow-up communications on our behalf. These providers process your information solely to deliver services to us, and may store it on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
5.4 Sender identification and unsubscribing
Every commercial electronic message we send will clearly identify HECT Migration & Appeal Experts as the sender, include our contact details and contain a functional unsubscribe facility (an unsubscribe link in emails, or the opt-out instruction stated in an SMS). You may withdraw your consent at any time, free of charge, by using that facility, by emailing info@hect.com.au or by calling 1300 770 585. We will give effect to your request within five (5) working days. Withdrawing consent to marketing and follow-up messages does not prevent us from sending communications that are necessary to administer an existing engagement or that we are required by law to send.

3. Engagement, Fees, and Payment Terms
We commence work only after a signed Service Agreement / Costs Agreement is received and initial fees are paid.
